Accessibility Commitment
Professional learning should not create avoidable barriers. Accessibility is part of product quality, not an optional layer added later.
Why accessibility matters
People think, read, navigate, communicate, and learn in different ways. A professional learning platform should respect that range and make essential meaning available without requiring a single sensory or interaction mode.
Our accessibility philosophy
Design the structure first: clear hierarchy, predictable navigation, visible state, meaningful labels, plain language, and alternatives for material content. Treat barriers as product defects and include disabled people’s experience in validation.
WCAG goal
The Academy aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA for customer-facing web experiences. This is a goal—not a claim of complete conformance or certification.
Keyboard and focus
Navigation and learning controls are designed for keyboard operation with visible focus. Native elements are preferred where they provide reliable semantics and interaction.
Screen readers and structure
Pages use semantic landmarks, structured headings, form labels, legends, status regions, and text equivalents. Material flows still require representative screen-reader usability testing.
Plain language and inclusive learning
Instructions aim to be direct, specific, and free of unnecessary jargon. Core learning is text based; AI and microphone input are not required.
Known limitations
- A complete automated browser accessibility audit is not recorded.
- A representative screen-reader usability study is not recorded.
- Keyboard, zoom, reflow, contrast, error-state, and third-party identity journeys need final manual acceptance.
- A monitored accessibility contact and response expectation are not approved.
Continuous improvement and reporting
Accessibility findings enter release governance as defects. Meaningful improvements and known limitations should be published as evidence changes. Until a private monitored channel exists, do not send sensitive information through unapproved contact methods.
